Our Story

Okay, real talk — this isn’t our first rodeo with scrapbook paper.

Back in the early 2000s, we ran one of the biggest online scrapbook stores in the country. Boxes going out the door every day, customers all over the U.S. hunting for that one perfect pattern. It was a whole thing. Then life happened, that chapter closed, and the store went away.

But here’s the thing about paper crafters — we don’t really quit, we just take a break.

Scrappy Seconds is what happens when you can’t stop thinking about all that gorgeous NOS (new old stock) and deadstock paper sitting in warehouses, closets, and back rooms just waiting to be rescued. Basic Grey, Bo Bunny, Scenic Route — brands that stopped making paper years ago, but we’ve still got it. Some of our stock goes back to 2006, kept safe and sound, just waiting for the right project to come along.

We’re set up right here in Denham Springs, and honestly, we’d rather be a hangout than just a checkout. Come to a workshop, pull up a chair at the project bar, dig through the bins — you don’t have to buy anything to come say hi.

Need a space to create? Our crop room is available to rent on weekends and evenings — whether you’re hosting a class, planning a girls’ night out, or just need a few uninterrupted hours to knock out your latest project. Bring your own supplies or dig into ours while you’re here.

We also take donations. Got craft supplies you’ve outgrown, inherited, or just don’t reach for anymore? Bring them in and we’ll give them a second life — priced low and put back out for someone else to enjoy, instead of sitting in a closet collecting dust. It’s not a trade or a discount program, just a way to keep good supplies in the hands of crafters instead of the landfill.

If you’re chasing a discontinued print for a memory book, just getting into junk journaling, or you’ve got a stash of your own you don’t know what to do with — you’re in the right place.

Come see us.
